Besides following the advice to wash our hands regularly, all of our surveyors and installers have hand sanitising gel in our vans for use immediately before entering and after leaving your home. Our vehicles, phones and surveying tools are all wiped down between visits.
On arrival, we will wear nitrile gloves and politely refuse to shake hands. We hope you’re not offended, and we will instead offer a friendly wave or elbow shake.
We will only need to be in your hall and loft spaces, but if we need to use the bathroom, we will first ask permission and be sure to wipe down all surfaces after use.
Before leaving, we will wipe down all touched surfaces including switches, handles, banister and loft hatch.
All of our staff members are strictly adhering to the guidelines that if we, or one of our family members, develop either a persistent cough or a temperature then we will self-isolate at home for 14 days – in which case your appointment may need to be rescheduled if we cannot use another team member.
If you are self-isolating and would still like a quote then we can attempt to provide you with one by discussing your loft over a phone or video call. If you are able to access the loft and can take measurements, then we’d be happy to guide you through the process.
We are committed to exceptional customer experiences and will do our utmost to maintain our recognised high standard of service throughout these unusual times. As the situation evolves and any new guidance is issued, we will respond accordingly and keep you informed.
Warm regards,
Andrew and the team at Loft Boarding Scotland.
