After starting Loft Boarding Scotland in 2017, our managing director Andrew had to tackle challenges all small businesses encounter: Hiring your first staff, finding suitable premises, optimising processes while keeping your focus on high-quality customer service.
But in 2020, the COVID pandemic added a whole new level of challenges to the mix, especially for small businesses. Keeping operational while ensuring the safety of staff and customers alike was no easy feat.
But not only did we manage to keep boarding lofts. We also managed to grow our team (and our fleet of bright orange vans!) considerably during that time, creating new jobs and even more storage space in Scottish homes.
