It’s that egg-cellent time of year again, so put on your stretchy pants and release that inner adventurer: Here is a list of cracking local Easter activities to keep you and your nearest and dearest entertained over this eggs-quisite spring holiday!


Easter Eggcitement

Easter Family Events in ScotlandThe farm is alive this Easter with the cheeps and bleats of beautiful baby animals. Grab your clue sheet, sharpen your pencil, and tear around the farm collecting clues on the springtime trail. The famous duck race will take place from the 10th to the 13th April and don’t forget to keep those peepers of yours open for hidden delectable eggs!

Hopetoun House Family Easter Fun

This event is one not to miss! From exploring their impressive Easter trail to seeking your inner artist and creating some eggs-eptional Easter crafts, there really is something for the whole family! Ready to play some hide and seek? The staff at Hopetoun have been very sneaky and hidden some treasures and treats around the venue for you to discover.

Easter Egg Run

After something a little different? Want to be part of an amazing cause with a buzzing atmosphere? Reaching out to motorbike lovers and riders everywhere – relish in this incredible event where hundreds of biker’s ride through the streets of Glasgow in a mile-long convoy of colour, noise and smiles in support of our young patients. Please don’t worry if you don’t own a motorcycle, you can still be part of this special day and join everyone at the Royal Hospital for Children from 11am, welcome the parade as they approach the finish line and then spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the family fun day!

When: Sunday 12th April 2020
Tickets: £10.00 donation if you wish to be part of the parade
