The Guinness Partnership

The Guinness Partnership is one of the UK's largest affordable housing providers. Chris Wait, Head of Programme and Planning for Guinness South, said:

"We find that there's a lack of knowledge out there about the importance of protecting loft insulation, as it doesn't perform as well if it's squashed. The LoftZone platforms provide that protection and they also provide safe access routes to components that need repairing; such as water tanks. We intend to continue using the systems when replacing roof coverings."

Yorkshire Energy Services

Yorkshire Energy Services is an award winning energy efficiency company with a strong social purpose and was managing a project to clear and insulate lofts and provide a safe storage platform, to help vulnerable householders. This proved much more popular than providing loft insulation alone. Sarah Thomas, Project Manager at YES Projects said "We wanted to add the storage platform solution to the loft clear and installation project, so that the householder’s possessions could be put back in the loft without compressing the new insulation. Compressing the insulation means that it does not work to its full potential."
