Meet the Team
Loft flooring might sound boring & technical, but we’re all about creating extra storage space and saving energy in Scottish homes! And while we may not take ourselves too seriously, we are serious about our customer service.
You might have noticed that we’re not like your usual tradespeople who might (or might not) be on time and leave a lasting impression on your home with their dirty boots.
Our goal is to make sure you’re not just happy with the result, but with the whole process – from first contact to the finished loft.
Andrew Johnstone
Managing Director
The one who started it all when he was running out of space in his new build home. When he’s not thinking loft flooring, Andrew likes to spend time with his family, travelling through Scotland, mountain biking and go-karting.
Sandra
Financial Director
Sandra keeps all our numbers on the straight and narrow. When she’s not making sure our accounts are all in order, she enjoys meditating, spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for her family and friends.
Stuart
Loft Installations Manager
Stuart still can’t believe that he gets to do a job he loves AND meet new people every day – who feed him coffee and biscuits, no less! When not making sure that every installation is up to his (very) high standards, his 3 kids keep him busy.
Melissa
Customer Services Manager
Not being one for sitting still for very long, Melissa enjoys travelling or going to live concerts in her free time. And she really loves that her work keeps her on her toes as well, giving her ample opportunity to learn new skills every day.
Gael
Materials Manager
Gael loves watching the business grow and makes it her goal to fulfil our customers’ expectations every day. In her free time, she can be found travelling the country in her touring caravan, swimming, socialising with friends and family or doing DIY.
Chloe
Customer Service Advisor
Contributing to a growing company with a fantastic culture, a super-motivated team and happy customers makes Chloe smile every day. In her free time, she enjoys long walks with her dog and looking for the perfect sunset spot.
Robin
Loft Surveyor
In his free time, Robin enjoys playing the guitar, brewing beer and spending time with his two boys. And even after 30 years as building surveyor, meeting new customers is still his favourite part of the job – as is receiving their glowing reviews.
Kenny
Loft Surveyor
Kenny loves helping customers make the best of their homes – by ensuring their insulation is up to the job & finding the best way to increase their storage space. In his free time, he likes to spend time outdoors with family & friends.
Stu
Loft Installer
The smell of a cup of tea and freshly sawn timber are what get Stu going in the morning. When not at work, he loves spending time in the outdoors, on long-distance walks or honing his shooting, mountaineering and bushcraft skills.
Barry
Loft Installer
When he’s not at work, Barry splits his time between family and his local golf course. But on the job, there’s nothing he likes more than installing our flooring system, ladders and hatches and see the smiles on our customers’ faces.
Ian
Loft Installer
Ian’s favourite part of the job is offering his experience and expertise to make our customers happy and create more storage space in their homes. After work, he loves spending time with his family, going to the gym and furniture-making.
Alan
Loft Installer
As much as he loves providing our customers with a great job, football is a very close second for Alan. Whether it’s supporting his favourite Premier League club or helping out with his son’s team, he’s never far away from a football pitch.
Cammy
Assistant Loft Installer
As part of our installation team, Cammy enjoys learning new things and gaining skills every day when out providing our customers with more storage space. And he shows the same enthusiasm when out carp fishing in his free time.
Mitchell

Nothing makes Mitchell’s day more than a job well done and a happy customer. After work, he relaxes by playing football and spending time with friends and family. He also really enjoys going to music concerts and festivals to see his favourite bands live.
Connor

Being out with the team and meeting new people every day is one of the best things about the job for Connor. In his free time, he enjoys watching football, meeting up with friends and exploring new countries on his travels.

We offer both remote surveys via Zoom and in-person surveys in the whole of Scotland. Surveys usually take less than 30mins and quotes are sent out within 48hrs.
